WSI Digital Marketing Launches New Website for Phoenix

WSI Montreal is pleased to announce the launch of a bold new responsive website for Phoenix Wrappers, a leading manufacturer of stretch wrappers and stretch wrapping equipment based in Laval, Quebec. For over 25 years, Phoenix has devoted all of their resources towards continually improving pallet wrapping machines and stretch packaging equipment to ensure the safe arrival of their customer’s products and pallet loads.

An easy to navigate and modern website

Phoenix came to us with an ambitious project. Our challenge for this website was to find a way to structure and effectively organize Phoenix’s extensive catalogue of machinery which includes highly detailed product spec sheets and videos for many automatic and semi-automatic stretch wrappers for more than a half a dozen industries.

Our team began by carefully structuring the site map to organize of all of the sections and pages that would make up the site in a way that would facilitate navigation for the end user.

We designed a dedicated product page for each machine which includes detailed product information and specifications as well as photos, video and downloads. It was important that the relevant products be linked to one another. This was achieved by incorporating two feeds onto each page; one for related videos and a second for related products. For each, scrollable thumbnails appear making it easy to navigate to the related content.

The end result is a clean website that is well organized making it easy to navigate despite the volume of content.

Ongoing support and paid search advertising

Built on the WordPress CMS platform, our client will be able to edit their site themselves but we’ll always be there to help them with any issues that may arise by providing ongoing WordPress support. After the Phoenix website was launched, our team provided an extensive training on how to navigate the backend of their website and how to make any necessary changes.

Announcing the Launch of a new Website for The Oily Story

WSI Montreal is pleased to announce the launch of a website redesign for The Oily Story, a website that promotes whole life wellness that all begins with essential oils.

We centered our efforts on not only enhancing the visual appeal of this website, but also improving its functionality by reorganizing the content on the homepage as well as the main navigation.

The use of carefully chosen graphics throughout the homepage helps to establish The Oily Story’s message. Our team started by selecting a new banner image that would set the stage for the entire site. We chose an image that truly represents The Oily Story’s core values as well as their clientele. The young, healthy and happy family that greets you on the homepage completely encompasses The Oily Story’s vision which was to create a space where people could get whole life wellness by learning about healthy living through essential oils.

The initial version of The Oily Story’s website made it difficult for the user to fully understand the company’s objective. On the redesigned homepage, WSI integrated new visuals, improved the messaging, added specific calls to actions and restructured the navigation which dramatically helped to eliminate any confusion that the user may have been struggling with.

It was important that Tower Arctic’s new website clearly detail the highly specialized services that they offer. Namely: general contracting, water and sanitary distribution services and marine construction.

These three main areas of focus are displayed prominently on the homepage within eye-catching call out boxes that includes and image, icon, brief description and a ‘learn more’ call-to-action that leads to a separate page dedicated to each service.

Natural Beauty of the Arctic

Our client provided us with images of their equipment, crews and projects all set against the absolutely breathtaking backdrop of the Arctic. We displayed these striking images prominently in the header of each page. Not only do they enhance the site’s overall visual appeal, they give visitors to the site a clear understanding of the breadth of the work that is carried out by Tower Arctic and the amount of heavy equipment that they own.

Employment Opportunities

One of Tower Arctic’s challenges prior to having a website was effectively recruiting new employees. The addition of an employment page solved this problem. As an easy to access item in the site’s main navigation, the employment page lists the typical employment opportunities that they offer and has an easy to use form than an applicant can simply fill out, attach a CV and then submit.

Pneus Gordons has been a client for many years but it was time to give the site a fresh new look and some enhanced functionality so it can continue to provide the best possible service to its customers.

Tire prices have become very competitive over the years and now consumers are shopping around and comparing prices online. Gordons now offers an online tire catalogue for visitors to compare their prices vs. competitor’s sites which will show them that Gordons offers extremely competitive rates for new tires. They also offer a full selection of specialized wheels to add a customized look to the vehicle.

Content Creation

Since this project was a redesign we had a lot of existing content to work with but we wanted to dive in a little deeper so we wrote additional quality content to further explain the additional car maintenance services that are offered at Gordons such as steering and suspension, tune ups and oil changes. Not only is this content useful and informative for visitors to the site, it is also critical in helping Gordons rank in Google. We used SEO best practices when writing this new content and optimized the text to ensure that we grab Google’s attention.
